Korean Cream Cheese Garlic Bun


Ingredients

For Dough

Bread Flour    500g

Sugar              100g

Yeast               1Tbsp

Salt                  1tsp

Milk                250ml

Butter              50g

Butter Mixture

Butter             220g

Egg                1pc

Honey            1tbsp

Garlic             3 cloves

Parsley           (base on preferred quantity) 

Cream Cheese Filling                        

Cream Cheese                                        500g

Cream                                                     1/4 Cup

Powdered Sugar/ Granulated Sugar        50g  

Procedure

Butter Mixture

Combine all ingredients, Mix well until well incorporated. Set aside

Cream Cheese Filling  

Combine all ingredients. Mix using hand mixer until smooth set aside

For Dough

1. Combine dry ingredients mix until well.

2Add in Milk. Mix until you form a dough. NOTE: WATER ABSORPTION MAY VARY YOU CAN ADD WATER IF ITS LACL OF HYDRATION OR FLOUR IF IT IS TOO STICKY

3. Add butter mix and knead until dough become smooth and elastic. Do the window pane test. rest until double the size.

4. Portion your dough into 50g. Shape into ball put it in a greased pan. Cover and Rest until double the size.

5. After an hour. Brush with egg wash and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown at 180c. Let it cool.

6. Slice your bread into 6 portions. Put cream cheese filling on each side then dip into butter mixture.

7. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
