BEST BROWNIES RECIPE : HOTEL SECRET RECIPE
Ingredients
Flour 240g
Baking Powder 1tsp
Salt 1tsp
Cocoa 80g
Coffee Powder 1Tbsp
Butter 220g
Oil 100g
Eggs 3pcs
Powdered Sugar 600g
Chopped Chocolate 250g
Procedure
1. In a large bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt, coffee powder and cocoa. Sift and set aside.
2. In a separate bowl combine melted butter, powdered sugar and oil. Mix together then add eggs. Mix well.
3. Gradually add wet ingredients into dry ingredients. Mix well until smooth and free from lumps.
4. Fold in Chopped chocolate. Mix well. Do not over mix to prevent from cakey texture.
5. Transfer into rectangular pan. bake at 170c for 30 minutes.
wish they's use cups instead of grams

ReplyDeleteWeight measurement is much more accurate and consistent than using 'cups' in baking.
ReplyDeleteMost of the world uses the metric system. It is so much easier, straightforward and makes so much more sense.

Thank you for sharing a great recipe and for specifying your measurements in grams, for all of us living in most of the world (including my country, Canada). I've been using Mollie Katzen's recipe from Moosewood Cookbook, for decades. That's a great brownie, too, but my kid loves the crackle top, so these, according to him, are perfection.
