TAISAN LAOF RECIPE |CHEESY, SWEET and BUTTERY
Ingredients
Eggyolk 3pcs
Sugar 1/2cup
Water 1/4cup
Yolk 1/4cup
Lemon Zest 1pc whole lemon
Cake Flour 1cup
Baking Powder 1tsp
Salt 1/4tsp
Eggwhites 3pcs
Cream of tartar 1/4tsp
Sugar 1/2cup
TOPPINGS
Butter
Sugar
Cheese
Procedure
1. In a large bowl combine egg yolk, sugar, water, oil and lemon zest, mix well.
2. Add cake flour, baking powder and salt, mix well until no lumps. Set aside.
3. In a separate bowl combine egg whites and cream of tartar, beat until soft peak.
4. Gradually add sugar, beat until stiff peak.
5. Add a part of meringue into egg yolk mixture and mix.
6. Add the remaining meringue part by part using cut and fold method.
7. Transfer into loaf pan with parchment.
8. Bake at 170c for 30-40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
9. After baking remove in pan after 5minutes, let it cool.
10. brush with butter, sprinkle with sugar then add cheese on top.
