Cinnamon Rolls: WE HACKED CINNABON!
Ingredients
For Dough
Bread Four 1000g
Sugar 200g
Salt 1/2Tbsp
Yeast 1Tbsp
Water 450-500g
Butter 200g
For Filling
Brown Sugar 2Cups
Muscovado Sugar 2Cups
Cinnamon Powder 1/2Cup
Nutmeg 2Tbsp
PROCEDURE
For Filling
1. Combine all ingredients, Mix well and set aside.
For Dough
1. In a mixer combine all dry ingredients mix in low speed then add water as per needed.
2. Mix from low to medium speed until you form a dough.
3. Add butter then mix in medium to high speed until smooth and elastic.
4. Flatten dough in rectangular shape.
5. Spread butter on top then add a cinnamon filling leaving a 1 inch allowance on the end.
6. Gently roll dough towards the end. (see video)
7. Cut cinnamon roll in equal part.
8. Place in well greased rectangular pan, rest and cover until double in size.
9. After resting brush with eggwash then sprinkle with cinnamon mixture.
10. Bake at pre heated oven at 170c for 18-20 minutes.
