Simple and Easy Egg Pie Recipe


Ingredients

For Crust

All Purpose Flour    250g

Salt                           5g

Water                       50ml

Butter                       80g

Sugar                        20g

For Egg Pie

Egg whites                1pcs

Cream of Tartar         2g

Sugar                         20g              


Eggs                        6pcs

Eggyolk                   1pc

Evaporated Milk      330ml

Powdered Milk        200g

Sugar                        120g

Vanilla                     1tbsp


Procedure

For Crust

1. Mix all ingredients, Knead until you form a dough and become smooth. Rest and chilled for 30 mins.

2. Flatten dough then transfer into molder. Set aside


For Egg Pie

1. In a large bowl combine eggs, egg yolk, sugar, vanilla evaporated milk and powdered milk. Mix well until no lumps. Set aside.

2. In a separate small bowl. Combine egg and cream of tartar mix using hand mixer gradually add sugar until soft peak.



3. Mix a quarter part of egg whites mixture into egg mixture mix well. then Fold in the remaining egg whites into mixture. Avoid overmixing the mixture.


4. Pour in into pie crust. Baked for 45-60 mins at 170c.


*You can make also a mini egg pie just use a muffin pan as a molder
