Easy Pastel Camiguin Bread Recipe





Ingredients

Bread Flour            500g

Sugar                       100g

Salt                          1/2tsp

Bread Improver       1Tbsp(optional)

Yeast                        1Tbsp

Water                        220g

Margarine                50g

Egg                            1pc(for eggwash)    

Yema Filling            300g ( I use La Crema Yema filling or you can make on your own)


1. Dissolved yeast in water with sugar or you can use Instant Dry Yeast.

2. Combine Flour, sugar, salt, bread improver. Mix well.

3. Add yeast and water. Mix well until you form a dough.

4. Add Margarine. Knead dough until smooth and elastic.

5. Rest and cover until double in size.

6. Portion dough into 35g, shape into ball then rest for 10 minutes.

7. After resting. Flatten your dough put at least 15-20grams of yema filling. lock and close tightly.

8. Rest and cover until double in size.

9. After proofing brush an egg wash then bake at 170c for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
