UBE BAR, PANDAN BAR, MANGO BAR and STRAWBERRY BAR


Ingredients

For Dough

All Purpose Flour        500g

Sugar                           100g

Baking Powder           3tsp

Salt                              1tsp

Evaporated Milk          230ml

Butter                          80g

For Syrup

Evaporated Milk         1 1/2cup

Sugar                       1Cup

Strawberry syrup

Pandan Extract

Mango Extract

For Coating

Desiccated Coconut

Procedure

For Sugar syrup

In a saucepan combined sugar, milk and Ube or strawberry extract (base on your preferences). Mix well and bring it to a boil until sugar fully dissolved. Let it cool and set aside.

For Dough

1. In a large bowl combine all dry ingredients, Mix well.

2. Gradually add milk into dry mixture. Knead until you form a dough.

3. Add butter then knead until all ingredients are well incorporate and smooth.

4. Roll your dough and shape it into rectangular approximately 8' by 6' with 1/2 inches thickness.

5. Transfer into greased rectangular pan or sheet tray. Bake for 15-20 mins or until cook at 180c.Let it cool.

6. Cut your bread into rectangular shape or square depend on your preferences. Then dip into sugar syrup and roll in desiccated coconut. serve and enjoy!
