Kopi Roti : Coffee Bun Recipe

INGREDIENTS
FOR DOUGH

Bread Flour                  250g
All Purpose Flour        250g
Sugar                           100g
Yeast                           1tsp
Salt                               1tsp
Eggs                             2pcs
Milk                              100g
Butter                           50g

FOR TOPPINGS
All Purpose Flour        70g
Coffee Powder            1Tbsp
Sugar                            50g
Egg                                1Tbsp
Butter                            50g

PROCEDURE

FOR TOPPING
1. Cream butter and sugar, add flour, eggs and coffee powder. Mix well until smooth. (Toppings can cover up to 10 coffee buns)

FOR DOUGH

1. In a small bowl combine yeast, water and 1 tsp of sugar, mix well and let it bloom. Set aside.
2. In a large bowl combine bread flour and all purpose flour, add sugar and salt, Mix well.
3. Add egss, milk and yeast mixture. Mix well until you form a dough. ( ADD WATER IF DOUGH IS TOO STIFF )
4. Add butter, knead until smooth and elastic. Rest until it double in size.
5. Weigh dough into 50g each, shape into ball.
6. Put it in a well greased pan. Cover until double in size.
7. Add toppings starting from the middle in a circular montion until half of dough are cover. You can put sugar or chocolate chip as topping but optional.
8. Bake at 170c for 12-15 minutes
