UBE YEMA CHIFFON CAKE


Ingredients

All Purpose Flour    1Cup
Baking Powder        1tsp
Violet Food Color    1tsp (coloring)
Salt                           1/4tsp

Egg yolk                   3pcs
Sugar                        3/4 Sugar
Water                        1/2Cup
Oil                            1/4 Cup
Ube Flavoring          1/2tsp

Egg White                3pcs
Cream of Tartar        1/4tsp

For Toppings

Yema 
Cheese

Procedure

1. Combine Egg yolk, Sugar, milk and ube flavoring, Mix well.
2. add and sift all purpose flour, Baking powder, ube powder, Salt. Mix until smooth.
3. In a separate bowl, combine egg whites and cream of tartar. mix until stiff peak.
4. Get a small portion of meringue and mix in egg yolk batter.
5. Then gradually fold in reaming meringue part by part. Mix well until well incorporate.
6. Transfer into round pan and bake at 170c from 40-50 minutes.
7. After baking remove immediately from pan to prevent deflating. Let it cool.
8. Coat with yema and top with cheese.
