BLACK BURGER BUNS


 Ingredients

Bread Flour        350g

Sugar                  75g

Yeast                  1tsp

Salt                    1/2tsp

Bread Improver  1tsp (optional)

Shortening           30g

Water                  110ml

Food Color  (black) or you can use squid ink or activated charcoal for better color

Egg whites for eggwash

Procedure

1. Combine all dry ingredients. Mix well

2.  Combine water and food color then add to dry mixture. Mix and knead until it form a dough.

3. Add shortening. Knead until become smooth and elastic. Rest until double in size.

4. Portion into 70grams. Shape into ball. proof until double in size.

5. Brush with white egg wash. sprinkle with sesame seeds.

6. Bake at 170c for 12minutes until golden.
