Sausage Roll Recipe





Ingredients

Bread Flour        300g
Sugar                  50g
Salt                     1tsp
Yeast                  1tsp
Water                 120g
Butter                30g

Sausage             8pcs
Cheese (optional)
Parsely (optional)
Egg for eggwash

Procedure

1. In a small bowl combine 1/3Cup water, 1tsp sugar and 1tsp yeast. Mix well and let it bloom for 5 minutes.
2. In large bowl combined brad flour, salt, sugar. Mix well.
3. Add yeast mixture and water. Mix until you form a dough.
4. Add butter or margarine. mix and knead until smooth and elastic. Rest until double in size
5. After resting portion dough inti 60g each. Shape like a ball then rest for 10 minutes.
6. After resting gently flatten dough, roll then shape like a stick. rest for 5 minutes.
7. After resting gently roll from middle outward to lengthen approximately 18-20 inches long.
8. Gently twist then roll over sausage. Rest until double in size.
9. Brush with egg wash. you can add cheese and parsley on top.
10. bake at 180c for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
